EOS Electrical Job Timeline

Below shows a timeline of some of EOS Electricals major electrical contracts and projects since our inception in 2010.

City of Subiaco Street and Park Light Maintenance Service

This contract covers electrical maintenance on street and park lighting, switchboards, power outlets, bollards and feature lighting of City owned assets within the Subiaco, Daglish, Shenton Park and Jolimont areas.

City of Armadale Street Light Maintenance

The works of this contract include the maintenance, repair, or replacement of Council owned street lighting in the areas of the Armadale City Centre, Araluen Estate Roleystone, Hilbert, Coachman’s Park Kelmscott and Champion Lakes

City of Perth Christmas Decorations (Installation, Maintenance & Removal)

This project involves the installation, maintenance and the removal of new and existing decorations in selected parts of the Perth CBD, Northbridge, East Perth and West Perth. Works are thoroughly and carefully planned and carried out on nightshift to minimise disruption to the public.

City of Perth Electrical Maintenance Service

This contract includes the planned and unplanned repairing and replacement of street and park lighting, switchboards, power outlets and electrical bollards within the Perth CBD, malls, Northbridge, West Perth, and East Perth.

Public Transport Centre Emergency Lighting Upgrade

EOS Electrical orchestrated the complete and complex removal, rewire and installation of the emergency and exit lighting system in this fully operational office building. This included a range of Clevertronics zoneworks branded luminaires along with new cabling and supporting infrastructure to complete the fully operational system.  

 

City of Subiaco Market Square Lighting Upgrade Project

The city of Subiaco engaged EOS Electrical to upgrade the lighting in Market Square. This included the removal of existing light poles and luminaires and replacing them new poles and LED luminaires in line with the new design plans.

City of Perth Plaistowe Mews Lighting Upgrade

The project consisted of the upgrade of an aging asset while providing the public area and roadway with lighting. This involved the installation of new underground cabling, conduits, and pits, supplying and installing concrete footings for the new light poles and existing switchboard modification.

 

City of Perth JH Abrahams Reserve Lighting Upgrade

EOS Electrical were contracted to install new pathway bollard lighting in JH Abrahams Reserve in Crawley. This project required trenching in new conduits, pits with concrete collars and engraved labels and the supply and installation of concrete footings along the river side pathway. Throughout the project, the pathway and the park were still being used by the public.

Florence Hummerston Reserve Enhancement Project

As one of EOS Electricals first major projects, we are proud of the installation in Florence Hummerston Reserve. We were engaged by BOS Civil in 2011 who partnered with MG Group to revamp this public open space for the City of Perth. Our scope of works included the supply and installation of

iGuzzini bollard lights, step lights and post top lights and poles. A completely new pit and pipe system was installed by EOS Electrical in line with the design drawings. A new site main switchboard was supplied and installed by EOS Electrical as part of this project. All the required Western Power notices were completed by EOS Electrical as well as comprehensive operation and maintenance manuals handed over to BOS Civil on successful completion of the project.

City of Perth Carpark Lighting Upgrade

EOS Electrical have been contracted to remove and install general and emergency lighting throughout several of the City’s main car parks. The car parks involved in this contract are CPP His Majesty’s, CPP Pier Street, CPP Roe Street and CPP Elder Street. During the works at His Majesty’s car park, old emergency light fittings and controls were removed and new Clevertronics HIVE fittings and controls were installed. While the works at Pier Street car park involved replacing the general lighting with new Clevertronics weatherproof LED battens as well as removing existing emergency light fittings and controls and installing new Clevertronics HIVE fittings and controls. By upgrading the canopy lighting we were able to replicate natural daytime lighting at the entrance driveway to ensure the safety of drivers and pedestrians was met. Roe St and Elder St car parks are currently in the works and will also see the general lighting within both car parks be replaced by new Clevertronics weatherproof LED battens.
